The architects and designers of TANK have done some work on The Station – their office space – located in the middle of the city. Lucky you. Because you can rent one of their three perfectly furnished spaces. Or all three of them, if you wish.
The Boardroom(46m2) is made for those occasions that require a little bit more allure. Take a seat with up to 16 people at the impressive table, especially designed for this space. Or admire the impressive tapestry by artist Mae Engelgeer, which consists of 3D textile panels. TANK has also influenced the lighting: the large lamp above the table is of their own design. And those who stand in the tower can have unique views over Rembrandtplein.
In The Playroom(29m2) you can play in a ping-pong tournament with up to 10 people. But only after the inspiring brainstorm session, of course. This playful boardroom – with a view over Rembrandtplein – is light, spacious and has a multifunctional design table.
The Livingroomis not only stylish – it is also enormous. This bright room with high ceilings is 170 square meters. You can comfortably host up to 60 people. Very suitable for that lecture or presentation. More intimate settings are also possible, of course. That’s what the nice seating areas are for. Our favorite: the large bar, which seats up to 12 people. Included with the rent of this space: a balcony fit for royalty. Anyone who comes here to brainstorm should also give Rembrandtplein visitors a big wave.
TANK loves working with materials that look better with age. Real materials. Rough wooden table tops, for example. Or concrete balls that were formerly used in a parking lot, but now function as side tables. Yes, that’s possible – come and see. This industrial location is spacious and light. But also warm and cozy. It is no wonder that the three rooms are used for meeting purposes, as well as for video recordings and photoshoots.
You can also ask TANK’s designers to give a presentation. They love to talk about their projects. About the interior of the A’DAM Tower, for example, or that of the Vondelgym or Hotel Arena. Or about the architecture of the three silos on Zeeburgereiland. This compliments the monthly cultural activities on the subject of interior design and architecture which take place at this location. It is buzzing at The Station. Inspiring brainstorm sessions, workshops, lectures and presentations are guaranteed.
It doesn’t get more central than this. Not really. Tram 4 and 14 stop in front of the door. Just like bus 285, and bus 287. And the metro. Parking is very close: at parking garage ‘The Bank’ (Amstelstraat 12), and at Stopera (Waterlooplein 28). If you park at ‘The Bank’, ignore the ‘do not enter’ signs. The parking garage is still accessible. Loading and unloading is possible in front of the door between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The venue The Station was a big hit with everyone, as was the delicious spread of lunch and snacks over the two days. All in all we were super happy with our choice of venue, and Sophie and Petra were just fantastic. Thanks again for all your help in along the way. We will be sure to keep this venue in mind for any future workshops we or other teams might have.
